| In Memory of George "Toby" Counter September 21, 1930 - September 1, 2009 This year we sadly said goodbye to nine-year club member and good friend George “Toby” Counter, who died of heart failure on September 1st. Toby was born in Denver, Colorado in 1930 and he and Margaret just celebrated their 46th. wedding anniversary. Toby was a painting contractor, creative cook and was always helping friends and neighbors with projects around their homes. He drove motorcycles, Chryslers, Cadillacs, and everything in between, but really loved his 2000 Miata SE. In addition to Margaret he is survived by his niece Vicki Fearn, nephew David Counter, and brother Charles “Bud” Counter of Dallas, Texas. He was preceded in death by his brother Jack Counter. At his request donations may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital or a charity of your choice. Toby, we within your SAMOA family will always miss you. |
