Miata Roundup
July 27, 2008

BAMA is happy to announce the return of the very popular Miata Roundup, held again this year at Marina Motors in
Capitola. For those of you who are new or didn't attend, make sure to mark your calendars for Sunday, July 27th! Marina
Motors clears out their Mazda dealership lot for us to park, show and shine all of our Miatas (last year there we about 80!).
This event includes a BBQ lunch, hopefully vendors such as dent repair on site, and a car show/contest with prizes, a
raffle, and fun in the sun! More details as we go along. In addition, our guest speaker will be
Barry Hartzel, who has a
long and successful background in building, selling and racing Spec Miata race cars, and the director of NASA's HPDE
program since 1998.

We will be asking for RSVP's this year, as last year they ran out of food, and had to jostle around cars for the extra
people who showed up. Also, if you are staying the weekend in Capitola, make sure to go ahead and make hotel
reservations. We really want to show Marina our appreciation.  Pre-Registration info is in the
attached flyer - PLEASE
INCLUDE YOUR CAR
YEAR AND COLOR WHEN PRE-REGISTERING.  NO money is due at this time.  We will send more
details as they come out.

Members of all Miata clubs are invited. The cost for this event is only $5 per peron, which includes lunch and your raffle
ticket!  Marina Motors is located at 4100 Auto Plaza Drive, Capitola 95010 (831) 475-3500.  Take the 1st. Avenue exit
from SR1 in downtown Capitola (see map below).
