| Delta 50's Bash & Weiner Roast July 19, 2008 |
The 21st annual Bethel Island 50's Bash will feature a classic car show, a hula hoop contest, and plenty of 50's music.
There will be vendors selling car accessories, tee- shirts, etc. In addition to the bash there will be a wiener roast held at
Kathi Bell and Vince Weis’s place on Bethel Island, which is walking distance from the Bash. This will be a joint event with
the Delta Miata Club.
Graeme Kinsey will lead a run from the Sacramento area to the event. Kathi and Vince do need an RSVP to plan the food.

BUT, how are you going to get to this event? You have at least two choices:
1. Go directly to Vince and Kathi’s. When you RSVP Kathi will send you directions.
2. Join Sharon and Graeme and enjoy a scenic drive along the Delta backroads to Vince & Kathi’s. The Run route is fairly
direct but NO freeways and lots of curves. Here are the details for those of you who’d like to join us and all drive down
together! Meet at 9 AM, Saturday July 19th, 2008 at McDonald’s, 8940 Pocket Road, Sacramento (Pocket Road exit at I
nterstate 5 - good for the Sacramento folk). We’ll leave pretty quickly, so it’ll be good to be there before 9. Secondary
pick-up at 10 AM, McDonald’s/Chevron, 300 State Highway 12 ,Rio Vista (this is good for the Delta folk). Estimated
Arrival at the Event: 10:30 - 11:00 AM.
Whatever works for you... Bocce ball, anyone? PLEASE RSVP for the event to Vince & Kathi, as shown above, so that
they can get appropriate vittles.
