Tired of all the maintenance issues on his Mercedes roadster, Gregg sold the car and
immediately started looking for a limited edition Miata in July of '07. By the first week of
August, he found his little polished gem on Craigslist. A 1997 STO. It was purchased new
and kept in the family ever since. The ad on Craigslist said it needed to go to someone who
would drive and enjoy it. A gorgeous deep twilight blue with a tan softop and tan leather
interior and well cared for.

I called and told the sellers that if the car was still available, I would like to buy it. Sight
unseen if necessary. When I saw the car, I knew this was to be my car. When I paid for the
car the following day, the former owners were sad to see it go. So many good memories
(and their tears told me how much they loved the little car). Having assured these
wonderful people that the car would be driven, enjoyed, cared for and have its own garage
stall, seemed to qualify me as the little Miata's new owner to be.

I am hooked on my Miata. I seem to be referring to it as Midgie (not after the MG, but
rather for the little bugs in Klamath Falls, Oregon to keep down the mosquito's). Zoom Zoom!
