Below is my 1994 Miata – I bought it from a guy down in Redondo Beach (near L.A.) this past October.  He bought it from the original owner
about a year and a half prior, a lady who had – get this – NEVER taken the hardtop off!  She bought the car from the dealership new with the
hardtop and enjoyed driving it with the hardtop on and couldn’t be bothered to take it off.  When he bought it from the woman, he had
Neuspeed sway bars (front and rear) installed, and had some new Bilstein HD shocks put on too.  The guy who sold him the sway bars and shocks
also convinced him to get a front shock tower brace and new brakes.

About 11 years ago, I owned a white ’93 Miata and loved it.  I had to get rid of it after about a year of ownership due to the fact that it was my
only vehicle and was so impractical.  Recently, I got ‘the bug’ to get another one.  After doing a bit of research, I found that the 1994 model year
was what I wanted (more bracing, bigger engine). Now, I’m in a position in my life where I can have this, and we still have a ‘practical’ car in the
family (my wifes’ car).  So when I saw this one on Craigslist.com, I was really interested.  I asked the seller for a bunch of photos, all the important
questions, and flew down there to buy it.  I drove it home with a HUGE smile on my face
The car had 54k miles on it when I bought it, and
drove like new.

In the 2 months since I bought it, have installed Hella E-Code lights, a Hard Dog Ace roll bar, Flyin’ Miata springs, rims off a 2001 MR2, and Falken
Azenis tires.  I absolutely love driving this car, it handles so well it seems to defy the laws of physics, it rides great, looks awesome, and still gets
good gas mileage! Not to mention, I love the camaraderie among the Miata owners that I’ve met so far.. people who are true driving enthusiasts.  It’
s not about who can spend the most money to have the fanciest car – it’s about owning a car that is a reflection of your personality, that is a joy
to drive.

In addition to the Miata – I’ve got a 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger that I’ve been restoring for about 4 years.. so you can imagine the guff I get from
my muscle car buddies from being a Miata owner.. but I don’t really care.

Another hobby of mine is photography.. so when I get the opportunity to combine my love of photography with the love of my Miata – I’m
usually pretty happy with the results.

If you’ve read this far – thanks!  Happy motoring
